Raqchi, an Inca archaeological site in the Cusco Region, Canchis Province, San Pedro District, Perú
The little village of Raqchi (125km southeast of Cuzco) is wrapped around Templo de Wiracocha, an Inca ruin which was once one of the holiest shrines in the Inca empire. It features huge columns supporting the largest-known Inca roof; mostly destroyed by the Spanish, but their foundations remain.
